I'm afraid the only option you have maybe to use component for 360 and vga for PC or vga for 360 and DVI for PC if your TV/PC supports it. i had the same problem but went with vga for 360 and PC DVI.mulac2910
Okay, upon doing some research, DVI is not the same as HDMI. But then where does the DVI input fit then? My TV has component, VGA and HDMI sockets. Where does the DVI go to? And why does it read 'HDMI/DVI' then?jhcho2
I'm thinking of using my HDTV as my computer monitor and at the same time use it for my Xbox 360. The problem is, i am using a VGA cable for both, and my HDTV only has one VGA socket. Is there sort of a hub where i can connect both VGA inputs from my PC and 360 to the TV and switch between the two whenever i want? Sort of like a 2 to 1 VGA hub where i can select the input as either PC or the 360.Wow their are some strange responses in this Thread. If your video card supports it just use DVI for the computer otherwise all you need to hook up both the 360 and your PC to the same VGA is KVM switch box! http://sewelldirect.com/ps2-vga-manual-kvm-switch-2.asp?source=pricewatch&utm_source=PriceWatch&utm_medium=cse
Oh ya, i don't intend to use component for my 360.

ooh....KVM switch box....seems to fit the descriptionjhcho2hehehe! You don't actually need a KVM. You need a VGA switch box. I haven't seen 1 of those in years though; just KVM, which means Keyboard, Video, and mouse switch. The Idea behind a KVM is that you can use the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse with 2 different PC's. You don't have to use the K and M part. All you need is the V :)
