Will DDR4 RAM come out at in the same time frame? How expensive will all these new stuff be? I'm planning a new rig with these brand new parts but will they be that much more expensive?

Yes DDR4 will be released in the same time frame and I would guess the price will be dependent on the speed of the ram. Hopefully the cheapest sets will be less than $150.

@AutoPilotOn: Definitely worth upgrading from my Phenom II quad platform with DDR2 800mhz.

@Lach0121: lol yea I had a 955 phenom I replaced like 3 years ago when I got my 2500k and I thought that felt like a good upgrade back then.

i'm gonna try to resist buying one but i'm weak willed and probably will get a new cpu if theres any decent improvement over my 4770k. But realistically speaking... most likely i'll end up getting a new gpu before cpu.

@PredatorRules: I am, phenom II quad, and DDR2 800mhz. More than enough of a reason to upgrade. Actually its way past time for me to upgrade, so I should see an entire new world of performance.

I wonder how it will do in a core for core(and even better would be MHz for MHz) comparison to my 3570K.
