Good Rig, Bad BF3 Performance??

I've looked it up a dozen times and I cant figure out why the game runs so crappy on my system! No matter what settings i set the game to, (low,medium,etc;) i only get 15-25 fps! I thought this game should run like butter on my system or was I wrong? My system specs:

Quad i-5 2300 @2.96ghz

4 GB DDR3

1TB HDD

GTX 460

The game is a mess, simple as that, it "should" run great, but it also "shouldn't" have game breaking bugs and insane input lag either (especially since it worked relatively fine on release, even better in beta), yet it's not like that.

I have no problem running it, the only problem I had was installing it (Origin :x).

Anyways, I assume you have the latest drivers?

These ones work the best for me. I've tried the newer ones but it brought me alot of problems.
