The worst thing is David Duchovny. He's the voice actor for your character, and his narration is unbelievably monotonous.
Next, the level design. Think FEAR, only with bad graphics. And every minute or so, everybody stops (because in the hour I've played, I'm with a team), a few monsters start jumping around and you have to shoot them. It's really boring. Adding to the insult, there's no subtitle option, which sucks for me since I'm from Eastern Europe... wait, scratch that, sucks for everybody because the dialogue is mostly filtered and you can't understand ****. Sometimes I didn't know what to do next, because the objective arrow randomly turns on and off, and since I couldn't understand what I was oredered...
I have no idea what the monsters try to be. They are just bland. It's like The Flood meets The Strogg. That sounds awesome, I know, but it's not. And then there are some creepy-crawly things which look like a crappy mix between headcrabs and The Flood. I already uninstalled the game, but from what I saw in the cutscenes (horrible, non-skipable cutscenes) the designs suck even more further away.
And then the weapons. Holy cow, the weapons suck. They have no punch, no feeling, no nothing. You have some sort of Quake 4 machinegun, only that it's lame. I kept picking up shotgun ammo, but there was no shotgun around.
And the controls blow. Hard. The default fire button was Enter, the recoil is insane, and it seems to have some sort of mouse acceleration which makes shooting stuff impossible. If you think BioShock or Halo 2 had wonky acceleration, wait 'till you play this!
The FOV is also limited, but I can get over that.
So, basically, this game feels like a half-assed Halo clone.
