Though i don't like Bioshock that much, the game's soundtrack is great listen. Some of the scores are just awesome.

And GTA IV's intro theme too.

Alot of amazing RPG music to be sure, but there is always that "battle music" which I can't stand. Quake 2 has my favourite soundtrack.

As stated above, the radio stations in GTA have all been great. However, I do like the background music in COD5 WaW alot too, especially on the Russian side. Gets you in a good mood and you really really want to shoot people and do it fast. Great music.

My all time favorite is the menu music from the original install of Civilization IV. Its a song called Baba Yet by Christopher Tin. Another good one is a track called Fun & Mini Games from Beyond Good & Evil. I forget who made it however, you can hear it during the third race track.

MonkeyIsland2 - LeChuck'sRevenge

Trust me, it has the most amazing music in PC gaming even after all these years. It may be only MIDI music, but it has the most amazing adaptative music
s y s t e m thanks to imuse and the songs from the amazing talent of Michael Land are memorable and extremely catchy. I would love a game that has that quality and s y s t e m of music with surround sound and MP3 quality!

I used these tracks with crysis( i was loling when i saw someone post crysis score - each to their own though right) - completely changed the atmosphere. alot of rpgs have very good music also.

Loved sound track/radio stations from GTA VC. Music from painkiller was great as well.

Although my all time favorite music is from Deus Ex... some awesome electronic music.

VTMB had a few cool songs as well.

The soundtracks to Unreal, UT and Deus Ex are among my favorite game soundtracks and some of the best music I have. All soundtracks were done by Alexander Brandon and Michiel van den Bos. The day I found out how to convert MOD files into mp3s was a fantastic day. I have all three soundtracks burned to discs and on my iPod.

Thief: Deadly Shadows has some really great ambient tracks as well.
