Far Cry 3 issue

Picked Far Cry 3 up yesterday and i'm enjoying it, there is however one thing ruining it. The game keeps crashing to desktop, it appears to be random when it will crash.

I've done all the basic things, update drivers and play the game on Low settings but it's still happening. This happening to anyone else?

You need to download a new video card.

580 is perfectly fine.

You playing it in DX11 or 9? Try 9 if you haven't already.

Make sure you're using the newest beta drivers and verify game cache integrity if you got it off steam.

No issues for me running it on my laptop so far . Great game .

Happily running medium settings at ~40-60 fps. Game still looks great.

Running it in DX9 seems to have sorted the issue.
