Does Bioshock 2 use directX 10?

The first one did, so I have no reason to think the second wouldn't. Whether or not DX10 would really provide that big of a difference visually is debatable.

Yes, but on my W7 machine DX10 causes it to crash after the intro movie; so I am forced to play it in DX9.

Yeah a big part of Bioshock 1's hype was that it was the first significant title to come out with DX10. I cannot imagine they would go backwards and reverse design their entire graphics engine...

Working fine on W7 here using DX10 (GTX 295 / Win 7 64 bit) so YMMV.

Yes there is DX10 on Bioshock2, works and looks good to :D

Guys, Bioshock had support for DX11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKq6wHbyBf4 No, it actually didn't. But I thought the video was a pretty funny idea.

If dx11 looked like that I would never play another PC game again. That would give me the biggest headache.
