As in 3d vision etc
if not why?
if yes why?

It's expensive to set up and most games don't support it properly. So no.
IQT786
i wouldn't agree with that, but yeah its expensive but Worth-it
I looked at the compatibility for my games in nvidia control panel, none of them worked properly, stuff always needed disabling and stuff.I haven't used nvidia 3D, but the main problem is the price, and you have to have a compatible moniter. I doubt it's really worth it.stuff like bloom etc you will not miss tbh
have you used it?

If i get a chance i'll try it :Pi thought that at 1st but soon as i got i couldn'tstop using it put it like this i would never play in 2d again you should try it it is 1000000 times better then red n blue glasses which don't work

there's programs and mods that allow all games that support Nvidia 3d to be played with Red and blue 3d glasses.[QUOTE="IQT786"][QUOTE="Nibroc420"] red and blue glasses do work... why would you say otherwise...Nibroc420

Projectors dont do 1080p do they? :PNO, because it's too expensive to setup (gpu, glasses, 3D enabled monitor). Also I hate 3D movies with the silly glasses, so the whole glasses thing puts me off.

The 3D experience has really changed.NO, because it's too expensive to setup (gpu, glasses, 3D enabled monitor). Also I hate 3D movies with the silly glasses, so the whole glasses thing puts me off.

Hi,
About 4 weeks ago i bought a 120hz lcd and 3d vision glasses, at the same time i bought an ati 5870.
I currently have my 22inch 1680x1050 120hz monitor plugged into the nvidia card (gtx 260) and my 24inch 1920x120060hz monitor plugged into the ati card.
The Ati card is very fast, i can now run everything maxed out with top aa (except crysis, but this runs pretty smooth without aa).
However, the 3d vision is even better. I have not used my 60hz monitor (ati card) for 3 weeks. I am shocked how good the 3d is. I would even say that this is a better upgrade than a new video card (if you already have a gtx 260 or better nvidia card).
The difference it makes to games is unbelievable. They feel so immersive. I never want to play games in 2d anymore. The change feel like the day i first bought a 4mb Orchid righeous 3dfx card for my pc.
Everyone i know who has had a go says they are shocked at how good it is. Nobody has not been very impressed!
Anaglyph glasses can not compare to how good these glasses are. I wasnt even overly impressed with the cinema polarised 3d. These shutter glasses seem on a different level of depth and pop out! I cant describe with words the experience.
Another big plus, in 2d mode 120hz is super smooth and as i play unreal tournament instigib i think this is awesome. The movement is so much smoother now. All fast fps gamers who take their game serious and doesnt use crt, should seriously think about using one of these 120hz monitors.
If I could run it with my ATI card and my current monitor then I might consider getting the glasses...d-rtyboySame here, but it is no where near worth upgrading to a 120Mhz monitor, and replacing my card to go Nvidia.

Projectors dont do 1080p do they? :P if you pay enough they do.if it was cheaper and worked like the movie ones with no need for batteries or a constant ir line of sight. give a few years and it will get cheaper and a better system will come out. imprezawrx500
these are better then the movie ones the movie ones have less depth
batteries are rechargeable last 40hrs plus you can charge and play
the IR range 1.5ft to 15ft more then enough

Really doesn't matter, as I really don't see it justifying the cost.I'd rather wait until the technology develops, we already have enough troubleshooting (i.e getting games to run and work properly) to do on computers without 3D vision added.Bigsteve3570This, if natal takes off, and we get better 3d, i could see epic win.
