I severely doubt it. Though, I haven't looked on the inside of a games console recently, so I'm not 100% certain. Why did you want to know?skapunkclarence
Well I would mainly like to get some gamecube games on this pc that I've not played. I would really like the new version of RE that came out for gamecube along with a couple of other games and some dreamcast games as well like crazy taxi but I need better graphics to run those games.
Well what about downloading some type graphics enhancer off the internet?odin2019I reiterate: What are your PC's specs at the moment? The most you can do in terms of software is tweak the settings for each game, or find ways to cool down your current GPU so you can overclock it.
Do they? Also, is there some type of graphics program that I can download for free to enhance the graphics that my pc can out put? I'm looking for the cheapest way to enhance the graphics on this thing and I would prefer to spend little to no money on it.odin2019in the Xbox360 the GPU is based off ov ATI's 2900XT card and in the PS3 it is based of ov the 7800GTX (both of witch are outdated) U will not be able to play console games on ur pc as this is illegal.

Umm, just because something is illegal doesn't mean you can't do it. And you can't play 360 or PS3, or even Gamecube games on your PC because its not at all possible, not because its illegal. If you want to play Gamecube games, spend $20 and get a Gamecube.

The gpu in the xbox is base off of the 1k series from ATI, lol if it was base on the one you stated the 360 would have dx10.
Well I need a library for video games and I'm not gonna go around buying every old system out there to do it when it can be done on pc. Also, I not gonna go hunt down all those old games or try to get them off of ebay at an outrageous price. Also, I don't have to swap disc or switch between connecting different consoles when it can all be done on one. I like using my ps3 controller.
I guess I'm gonna have to get a graphics card but thats all I'm gonna buy because today's games would require a new processor and **** that.

xbox 360 = cut down radeon 2600 (somewhere between 2400 and 2600 and ps3 has something between a 7600gt and 7800gsimprezawrx500it is not as weak as a 2600. its just a cut down version of the 2900. if it was as weak as the 2600 then it wouldent be able to play games like Farcry 2 or Halo 3 at the settings it dose play them at

The Playstation 3 has a graphics solution roughly based off G70 (7800 series), and the Xbox 360 uses a modified R580 chip that I believe has some tesselation abilities (like R600), but in most ways is similar to the X1900/X1800 series.
This entire thread is hilarious.theragu40
++. Don't bring system wars in here.
Fact of the matter is: There's no way to steal a GPU off a console and stick it into your PC. The only thing that's going to help your performance are either software tweaks/tuning or buying new hardware.

The Xbox 360 is the most limited console graphically between it and the PS3 because of the X1900 like chipset it has, and I remember back in 2005/2006 games that were made for both Pc and it, My old Geforce 6600 out did the 360 on textures,draw distances and effects. But yet a top end Pc cant run GTA4... lousy job porting.04dcarraherThey can run it, you just can't max it out. Even with the settings turned down it still looks better than the consoles.

If ps3 did have a 7800 it would be running cod4 on high settings and 720p not the med with 600p. Same goes for bioshock with x360 7800gt can easily max out that game while x360 doesn't run it maxed. The thing is the both have gpus fairly similar to the 7800/x1800 but then they cut the memory bandwidth in half and removed a few shaders which makes them significantly weaker and have more in common with the mid range cards.

No... Just no.
Rayvin is 100% correct...
Xenos has 48 shaders, like R580, but they are unified, like R600.
Xenos= Hybrid R580/R600
RSX= G70-ish.

Wooo someone who knows what they're saying. Yes, the 360 GPU is basically a hybrid R580 chip. And the PS3 RSX is based off of the NV47/G70 core that's in the 7800.
Do some research before posting here. Took me 2 minutes to look that information up.
