Hey guys,
I'm about to receive my brand new laptop for college and I would like to know which game do you recommed when it comes to showing off DirectX 11 features (e.g. tessellation)?

[QUOTE="DefconRave"]Crysis 3, Metro Last light, Batman Arkham City, The Witcher 2.Ben-Buja
The Witcher 2 is DX9 only.
TC, If you wanna show off DX11 stuff, Crysis 2 (With Maldo 4.0) & Crysis 3 are probably the best places to start
also im going to recommend bf3, batman: arkham city, MoH: warfighter, bioshock infinite, deus ex: human revolution, farcry 3. if you havent caught on any dx11 compliant fps or third person game is where dx11 shines through. you have other dx11 supported games but they wont use it as well... well maybe total war: shogun 2[QUOTE="Ben-Buja"]

Just higher res textures and lens flare.Â

Wait, are you actually trying to say that Half Life 2 looks nearly as good as Battlefield 3??[QUOTE="_SKatEDiRt_"][QUOTE="superclocked"]lol, no... superclocked

Wait, are you actually trying to say that Half Life 2 looks nearly as good as Battlefield 3?? Half-life 2 is a good looking game it has good art design and enough power in the source engine at the time to not to majorly hold it back graphically of course it way behind battlefield 3 graphics which is much more advanced graphically don't see how anyone can argue otherwise.lol, no...[QUOTE="superclocked"][QUOTE="_SKatEDiRt_"]

I kinda agree. It seems the jump in DX versions have been more about the little things than the easily noticeable. Looking at DX 7 to 8, 8 to 9, you can see quite a jump. Then 9 to 10 slowed down and I can barely tell the difference in the jump from 10 to 11 while in-game.Please Log In to post.
