Direct2Drive is having a 50%-off sale on several games published by 2K (among others). The sale ends on May 31st.

Who was it that started these weekend sales? Was is steam or impulse? At any rate, I think these sales are pure win! dnuggs40

It was Impulse, as per their CEO, Brad Wardell. Steam just made the concept popular.

They had one a week or two ago...$5 for Chosen: Well of Souls and Spacehack. Granted these are games most people would consider crap but for me it was nice.

How are Serious Sam 1&2 anything more than $5??

None of these particular games interest me, or I already have them. Thanks for the heads up though.

www.gogamer.com has some excellent sales as well. Currently L4D is $29 and Fallout 3 is $32. They aren't a digital distribution service though, sothe downside is that you have to wait for your games to arrive in the mail. You do get a physical copy/box though, so it isn't much of a downside imo.
