What is the best way to make a homemake dust filter for a gaming PC. I want to cover everywhere there is a fan.

You can buy a huge, foam window unit a/c dust filter from Wal-mart for about $1. They're made to be cut to fit, so they're perfect for computer fans. The only downside is that they're black, so they show dust really quickly. It's nothing that a vacuum attachment can't fix though... 0007535309099_300X300.jpg

Will this have a significant reduction of airflow?

Nope.. They're very porous, but they also catch all of the dust. They have much better airflow than ones made for PC fans...

Cool, how do you attach it? Just with tape? Or do you screw the fans in place and use the screws to secure it?

I use push pins for PC fans..
