I built my system a few months ago and I picked up a Core i5 2310K. Apparently it would've been way better if I'd picked the 2500K for its performance. ??

So if I go for a 2500K, how much performance boost will I get? (I don't overclock) IS IT WORTH IT AT ALL??

My ther system specs if that helps :
Mobo : P8P67 Le
GPU : HD6870
RAM : ADATA 4GB 1600*GS
PSU : Topower 700W
Gaming Resolution : 1400 * 1050

Don't do the upgrade if you don't overclock. Without overclocking you'll barely notice the extra speed of the 2500. Your CPU is just fine.

I think the 2310 overclocks to 3.4ghz. Correct me if I'm wrong but with that speed you'll be fine for the next 2 to 3 years

Maybe is easier to sell? Though this opens the door to o/cing later.
