Keyboard and mouse in fps, always always always. Absolutely no reason to handicap yourself by using a gamepad on the pc.

No I dont believe so. I don't see why you would want to either. The turning must be insane. Unless you like me are mistaken into thinking that the COD4 MP is like golf where you are meant to get the lowest score!!

I'm not sure if you can, but if you did, you would be constantly owned by every other player using a mouse and keyboard. And that would be just about every single person.

Mouse and Keyboard...btw.I always thought a gaming mouse wouldn't make a difference,im not really an online player CS source etc But i treated myself and bought a cheap OCZ behemoth, had good reviews for the price and the difference is huuuge..got a saitek cyborg keyboard aswell, nice and shiny.

Nothing wrong with gamepad on Call of Duty 4 or 5. I frequently use a 360 controller, mostly because I'm lazy, and I still average 1.40+ K/D ratio. On bad moments, maybe 1:1, but it never goes below 1:1.

cod mw2 is supposed to be a games for windows game supposedly, so it should work for the 360 controller. i dont know why people like to do gamepads though, i used to do 360 only and immediatly after i switched to pc i was much better. and i wasnt bad with the 360 to begin with.
