FPS- Averaging in the high 80s to the low 100s

I'm pretty sure you arn't maxed out if you are getting 80-100 fps. Whats your resolution? and is your graphics settings all set to "extra"? Better question should be: what are you using to determine that framerate, because in another post you said 150fps.
1440x900 resolution, everything maxed, 4xAA. Got 60-50 through the entire demo.
The demo is amazing. My 5.1 surround sound speakers were blasting, it is one of the best sounding games yet. The gameplay is really fast, the A.I. is actually kind of good, and the setting is something we really haven't played to much of.
Hey guys, im at work and can't play the demo just yet. But would like to know what type of FPS you reckon imight be getting with my computer.
Windows Vista
2GB Ram
Nvidia 7950GT 256mb
Samsung 226BW 22" LCD
My max res is 1680*1050
Will i be able to get max settings and res? or you reckon i should be with med? or lower res?
cheers.

150fps was my max, but I average in the 80-100fps area. I guess it depends on what's happening in the game, location, etc. I'm running at 1440x900, and yes, every setting is to extra, everthing cranked up.everything maxed except AA(turned it off cause it isnt needed at high res)
Res1680x1050
ran smooth as butter on my outdated system(not upgrading till next month)
FPS isunknown cause i didnt bother to run fraps due to how smooth it was so i didnt care.
didnt get any hickups either
Athlon643200+
1GBDDR
Geforce7900GT
I got a
P4 2.4ghz

My next upgrade is gonna be a
E6300
2GB of RAm 667mhz
8800GTS 320mb or 8800GT 256mb
BIG UPGRADE? right now in the demo i get 10-50 fps on low and the grpahics are still awesome!
Max of about 90-100
Average of 60 fps wit a dip to 45-50 in firefights.
Max ingame settings at a resolution of 1680x1050 with vsync off
Specs that matter
Demo was played on XP (didnt feel like firing up vista). AMD x2 3800+ at 2.3Ghz, 2gb ram and an 8800GTS superclocked.
Got through with the demo, and I can say with confidence that I won't enjoy another game ever again. :P
Everything ran perfectly. However...it didn't let me change the refresh rating or the resolution. Kept giving me a "DX error". I don't konw why that's happening. My Direct X is completely up-to-date, also.
EDIT: It keeps telling me "DirectX has encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the readme for possible solutions."
There is no readme.
BFG geforce 8800gts 640mb
AMD 6000+ 3ghz dual core
2 gigs ram
running on 32 bit vista
how will I run this game??
thanks
Hello? Can anyone help?
I can't change the resolution or the refresh rate at all. In fact, any setting that requires the game to restart the application crashes the game, and gives me the following popup error:
"DirectX has encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the readme for possible solutions."
There is no readme. Help, please?
windows xp/3d mark06 9000
1920x1200,
939 x2 4800 2.4ghz
2gb ddr400
8800gtx, all settings max, 4aa,4af
35-45fps heavy street action and gaurding the tank! everything eles 60-100
this game is what a fps is and i dont have to upgrade yet wooT!!!!
and when i cranked up settings (putting all of the settings ON, but it also only allowed me to put other ones to NORMAL, not high), i started getting 20fps -40
I am playin on 1280x1024 resolution with 2800+ (aka crap), x850xt and 1gb ram
low-medium looks pretty good and runs smooth for me ... so that would be my choice. game is awesome though!
1440x900 resolution, everything maxed, 4xAA. Gotaround 40-50through the entire demo, I think. Wasn't paying close attention to the fps though..
E6600 @ 2.4 GHz, 8800GTS 640MB, 2GB RAM
I play maxed out on 848x480 'cause I wanna play it on high and it woks really smooth
My rig:
AMD X2 DUAL-CORE 3800+2.2Ghz
1 GB OF RAM (SOON TO HAVE 2 GB)
250GB HD
X1600PRO 256MB PCI-E DVI....
It's not the best but it works fine on the specs I said maxed out on that res...
1920x1200 with everything turned up and it runs very very well. I can't help but feel this game was toned down for the 360's performance. I see the 8800's on this thread are crushing this demo. Heck, my X1950 pro 512 agp is killing it.
X1950 Pro 512 AGP
3700+
1 gig Corsair DDR400
Maxed out on 1440x900 with no aa or 1280x800 with 2xaa. Runs at a solid 30 frames during heavy firefights and looks great.
Evga 8600GTS SC
2gigs @ 550mhz
Pentium D 920 @ 2.8Ghz
hmm how come my settings are only in the 20s-30s when others similar to mine are at 80-100?
AMD x2 4600 (2.4ghz?)
8800 GTS 320mb
2gb ram
*edit* yet the UT3 demo seems to be running more smooth
Played it maxxed out.
Have to say I really did not love it, still prefer COD2.
Still very rail based, and I found it hard to always tell who the friendlys were. Compass was also a little harder to follow. Graphically, was very nice.
QX6700
4GB Ram
SLI 8800 GTX
Did not go below 80FPS and hit a High of 110FPS.
Games pretty nice, i Def like it.
It would probably look better on medium at your natives res.I play maxed out on 848x480 'cause I wanna play it on high and it woks really smooth

Not sure if there is a problem with the Radeon 2xxx series and this game but even with my x2 2900XT Xfired seem to get alot of slow down in places.
Tried turning off AA & AF didnt make a difference so it wasnt that. Would just like to know if anyone else is running the game with these card (s) who is getting the same thing?
Specs are below would think this system would trounce COD4 it laughs at WiC in DX10 mode!
1 gig ram, 6600gt, p4 3.0ghz cpu
settings: normal settings, no post processing, depth of field enabled, medium bodies, no shadows, no AA, 1024 768 resolution
fps: low; 20-50; 30 average
First I ran it at 1280x800, 4xAA, about 8xAF, just about all settings as high as they could go. I don't know what the average framerate was, but it was pretty smooth. Got a few hiccups when alot of action was taking place, but pretty minor.
Also ran it at 1600x1200 with the same settings. Framerates were somewhat lower on average, but most definitely playable all the way through.
Specs are in my sig._AsasN_
Yeah I've got essentially the same laptop with a fractionally quicker CPU (T7400). I get some hickups too when things get hectic particularly as I'm approaching areas such as the final tank arena. Any ideas why this might be? It seems to happen regardless of the resolution and graphics detail which would imply its processor related - is there some setting I should know about to help this? Feels like a loadingissue or something..

Yeah, 150FPS is a little obvious that it's not true. But as for the 80-100FPS, that happens to me when I was indoors shooting the guys. Well, maybe around 70-80FPS at a resolution of 1680x1050 w/ all settings maxed.
