we have very similar specs, and I'm running the game perfectly as well. Just a question though...did you notice there is no "high" for some of the settings? They probably capped the performance of the demo, but it looks amazing.

I'm pretty sure you arn't maxed out if you are getting 80-100 fps. Whats your resolution? and is your graphics settings all set to "extra"? Better question should be: what are you using to determine that framerate, because in another post you said 150fps.

Problem for me is that some of the settings only go up to "normal." does that mean there will be a high setting in full version?

1440x900 resolution, everything maxed, 4xAA. Got 60-50 through the entire demo.

The demo is amazing. My 5.1 surround sound speakers were blasting, it is one of the best sounding games yet. The gameplay is really fast, the A.I. is actually kind of good, and the setting is something we really haven't played to much of.

150fps was my max, but I average in the 80-100fps area. I guess it depends on what's happening in the game, location, etc. I'm running at 1440x900, and yes, every setting is to extra, everthing cranked up.

Got through with the demo, and I can say with confidence that I won't enjoy another game ever again. :P

Everything ran perfectly. However...it didn't let me change the refresh rating or the resolution. Kept giving me a "DX error". I don't konw why that's happening. My Direct X is completely up-to-date, also.

EDIT: It keeps telling me "DirectX has encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the readme for possible solutions."

There is no readme.

First I ran it at 1280x800, 4xAA, about 8xAF, just about all settings as high as they could go. I don't know what the average framerate was, but it was pretty smooth. Got a few hiccups when alot of action was taking place, but pretty minor.

Also ran it at 1600x1200 with the same settings. Framerates were somewhat lower on average, but most definitely playable all the way through.

Specs are in my sig.

Hello? Can anyone help?

I can't change the resolution or the refresh rate at all. In fact, any setting that requires the game to restart the application crashes the game, and gives me the following popup error:

"DirectX has encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the readme for possible solutions."

There is no readme. Help, please?

game runs pretty well (and looks too) for me - 30 in action.. 60fps just standing there

and when i cranked up settings (putting all of the settings ON, but it also only allowed me to put other ones to NORMAL, not high), i started getting 20fps -40

I am playin on 1280x1024 resolution with 2800+ (aka crap), x850xt and 1gb ram

low-medium looks pretty good and runs smooth for me ... so that would be my choice. game is awesome though!

1920x1200 with everything turned up and it runs very very well. I can't help but feel this game was toned down for the 360's performance. I see the 8800's on this thread are crushing this demo. Heck, my X1950 pro 512 agp is killing it.

Played it maxxed out.

Have to say I really did not love it, still prefer COD2.

Still very rail based, and I found it hard to always tell who the friendlys were. Compass was also a little harder to follow. Graphically, was very nice.

I was as unimpressed with the game as I was with CoD2. The original always stands out to be the strongest.

Not sure if there is a problem with the Radeon 2xxx series and this game but even with my x2 2900XT Xfired seem to get alot of slow down in places.

Tried turning off AA & AF didnt make a difference so it wasnt that. Would just like to know if anyone else is running the game with these card (s) who is getting the same thing?

Specs are below would think this system would trounce COD4 it laughs at WiC in DX10 mode!

Yeah I've got essentially the same laptop with a fractionally quicker CPU (T7400). I get some hickups too when things get hectic particularly as I'm approaching areas such as the final tank arena. Any ideas why this might be? It seems to happen regardless of the resolution and graphics detail which would imply its processor related - is there some setting I should know about to help this? Feels like a loadingissue or something..

Yeah, 150FPS is a little obvious that it's not true. But as for the 80-100FPS, that happens to me when I was indoors shooting the guys. Well, maybe around 70-80FPS at a resolution of 1680x1050 w/ all settings maxed.
