Bf 2142 problems@

I recently decided to get back into the battlefield games. I picked 2142 off it's dusty shelf and popped the game in. After about 3 minutes in any random online game, "Pb: losing vitals" and punkbuster kicks me, could someone please explain why this is happening

Also with Crysis, I can't even join an online server, ( it basically times out ) when I used to all the time about a month ago

the box is whited-out so and checked, so I can't uncheck it or re check it

thanks, I updated all my EA games and will see if this worked

There have also been some issues with EA's Master Servers during the last few weeks. The EA BF2142 forums have been rather full of people complaining about the random kicks and so-on.Gruug

intresting, thanks, hopefully this is my problem

because the stupid PUNKBUSTER refuses to let me play more then 30 seconds of any game, even after I updated all my punkbuster games

any other suggestions, I got Crysis to work, but BF 2142 isn'tgamerguy845

assuming you've patched the game up to 1.4, I can't think of anything else.

there is a new update, 1.50, after installign update, update punk buster, and try signing into battlefield 2142 with gamespy

Try uninstall PB(delete pb folder within BF directory) and install it again(read info at PB's website).thusaha

I'm not to good with that type of stuff, so I'll try that if nothing else works.

If I unistalled and reinstalled the game, would I have to reapply the 1.4 patch?

thank you all for your help, but punkbuster is working fine now, I'm not getting kicked any more, and I didn't even have to do anything. Seesh
