Deus Ex is my favorite, I guess I consider it to be the best too.smokeydabear076
thats funny because I swear 100% of the music in Deus Ex was taken from Unreal Tournement. I mean, they did use the same engines.

Yeah I do remember them sounding very close to eachother, but I don't remember 100% for sure if they have the same music.Any Hitman game.
BF1942 (At least the loading music, can't quite recall the menu music)
NOT BF2. I hate BF2's music to its core.

Menu music of Battlefield 1942 is almost better than the main battlefield theme
Also Supreme Commanders Menu theme is awsome.
most recently UT3.
don't remember any old ones right now...
edit: loads of NES & C64 games' menu musics. you just gotta love them :)

Deus Ex's and Unreal's music is made by the same guy, Alexander Brandon. They are made using the MOD, aka tracker music format. That's why they sound "low quality" when compared to these epic orchestral soundtracks we have these days. I like MOD and MIDI music more myself.
Anyway, best menu music?
Deus Ex, Jazz Jackrabbit 2, Far Cry.
Best loading screen music? Battlefield 1942.
Heroes of Might and Magic V
Red Alert 3 :)
Crsader: No Remorse and No Regret for it's in game music-love it :)-
Civ IV
PoP SoT
PoP Warrior Within
PoP The Two Thrones
CoD 4
CoD 2
CoD 1
NFS from HP2 to Pro Street (HP2, U1, U2, Most Wanted, Carbon, Pro Street)
NHL series
FIFA series
Quake 3
UT series (UT, UT2K3-awesome song :)-, UT2K4, UT3)
Guild Wars
Some I like more than the others but I can't choose :)
[QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"]Doom 3 just because it's awesome metal O.oVelocitas8
Hmm, Trent Reznor and a couple other Nine Inch Nails members did the music for Doom 3 if I'm not mistaken. Nine Inch Nails did the music for Quake 1, too.
Think it was Tweaker that did the title music for Doom 3, which was founded by Chris Vrenna (who was the drummer for Nine Inch Nails). Trent was involved then disappeared along with his sounds. :(
I'm going to choose:
Hitman Contracts and Blood Money
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Battlefield Vietnam
Kane and Lynch
Mass Effect
Team Fortress 2
The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind
or
Bionic Commando Rearmed : Prologue and Epilogue songs are just AWESOME!!
