Hey guys, I want to play the campaign off my HDTV on my nice comfy couch using my PS3 controller. How can I make this happen as the game seems to have no native support for it?

Don't know...you should get a 360 controllers, those do work with PC games.

Not sure if you have used the ps3 with your pc before, so I'll include getting the pc to recognize the controller as a "gamepad" as well

First, you pretty much have to download/install drivers for your operating system, very easy just follow the instructions in the links:

64 bit: http://www.motioninjoy.com/blog/show/8

32 bit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DGwgHO2VzM

not sure what your operating system is, so you can follow whichever one your operating system is (both are vista/7 by the way).

So once you have your controller recognized, I'm not sure if battlefield will support the ps3 controller natively, if not look into a program called "XPADDER" which will pretty much let you assign kb/m functions to the controller buttons so you can play the game with the controller

Also not sure of the distance between the pc/couch, but the standard ps3 charging cable may not be long enough to reach the couch (unfortunately you can't use wireless to my knowledge, unless your pc has bluetooth, but even that I've heard isn't the best experience). So, if you need a longer cable,

is a pretty good choice.

Hope I helped.

I got wireless working with those drivers. You need a bluetooth dongle. Its a pain to get working though.
