Audiosurf lag issue

Okay for a year or more I have been playing Audiosurf with little to no issues. Now until recently the game has run fine for the most part but now out the blue for no apparent reason the game keeps lagging over and over.

For example when I am playing the game and I try to avoid a grey block or what ever the game will lag and I will hit the grey block even though I didn't mean to.

I have already asked for help on the Audiosurf forums with no real solution so I am hopping someone on here will have a better answer.

this is a case where any amd cpu is not acceptable

try updating your video card drivers, maybe try adjusting the resolution of audio surf ( turning it down?) do you know your PC specs?nutcrackr

but updating video drivers never hurts

Here are my specs

Windows 7 Home Premium

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.10 GHz

2.00 GB

32-bit Operating System

And I have tried just about everything to get it working again like updating my drivers and cleaning my out system but for some reason it just decided to one day stop working properly.

Any one ?
