Here's roughly what you want;

CPU: 4670k

RAM: 8GB

Mobo: Z97 chipset (you can find one, its your first rig, you gotta learn)

PSU: That's fine the 1 you have

The CPU is a little weak, at least get an FX chip this is only $150

The HDD is a Seagate Barracuda and the SSD is Samsung

That's the one i was initially was going to go with

although the motherboard is FM2 socket, the FX chips are AM3

if you going AMD something like this might work Rig, slight over your budget by £58

get a gtx 600 series or amd r9 270x or 280x on ebay get the "new".

An r9 runs rings around a 6xx series card, either go for a 7xx series card or wait (there are rumors about the 8xx series being unveiled at Gamescom), a 6xx is also last gen.

ps: There is $$$ room for OS if you don't have (Win7 home premium 64bit OEM) but if you have you can go even for higher GPU like R9 290. Although the R9 280X is a great GPU already.
