So I've got Noctua's industrial fans (4 140mm intakes, 4 in push/pull on a rad, and 2 120mm in a push/pull rad). They are the ipc64 or whatever ones, top speed of 2k.

My rig is pretty top end for now, so I'm itching for an upgrade but with not much to upgrade to, I've been debating fans.

These noctuas are pretty slick, but they are definitely audible. My stuff's pretty overclocked, but temps on the cpu stay low 60s for most games, with peaks near 70 occasionally. GPU is cooled on a single 120mm rad.

Anyways...I've googled with less than great success about a comparison between these noctuas and Corsair's maglev fans.

How are the maglevs? Does anybody have experience with both these fans? It's probably 200ish to change the setup altogether, so I'm just curious if there's any benefit to noise/cooling ratios.

Fans at higher speed will be loud no matter what. Yes there are differences between different fans, but for me any fan I've experienced at 1500rpm is too loud.

With that said I will most likely buy a 2-pack the 140mm pro ones to switch out my intake fans on my case. Do honestly believe it won't matter though.

corsair because I never liked noctua's signature color scheme. It's 2018 and they are still using brown/beige for their fans.

@TheShadowLord07: Their industrial fans (the one's I'm currently using) are black.

@horgen: Yeah, at boot, when they hit 2k, it's like a giant vacuum until bios takes over and spins them down. They are all on custom configs so it's not loud while playing.

I'm just feeling the itch and those maglev fans seem neat, but I'm curious how they compare directly to these noctua industrial suckers, airflow/pressure (I have 2 rads), and noise ratio to the air they move, sound signature, etc.
