Youtube: The Worst Forum On the Internet.

Essentially, Youtube is like a forum. The video is the thread/topic and all the comments are posts. I've seen so many idiots post there it's not even funny. The so called offensive stuff they call people who disagree with them, is laughable lol. Do you agree? I think it's worse than the 4word. Then and again I don't frequent 4word. th3warr1or

I try not to pay much attention to the comments. They can get me pretty angry. :P I am no genius, but some of the people there are just so stupid...Or trying to be funny. Sometimes I can't tell the difference.

They do have many videos that you can look up, I'll give them that though. But I do agree with everyone that they're forums/comments are pretty awful.

There's a lot of uneducated ignorant people. There should be like a mandatory IQ/Aptitude test to pass before posting comments.

Try going to YouTube. Up where your username is, hover over the drop down menu. Click on "Account". Then find and click on Email options. Then proceed to click on "How Often YouTube Can Email Me". Once there, there should be different options to choose what YouTube will email you. If I remember correctly you can uncheck it from there.

Tried that, there isn't an option to stop comment replies.. the 6 options are One of my videos receives a comment or a video response Someone leaves a comment on my channel I receive a private message or shared video I receive a message from a channel I'm subscribed to I receive a friend invite from another YouTube user Someone subscribes to my channelth3warr1or

Hmm. I could've sworn there was one for comment replies. Oh well. You probably would get better results if you ask on YouTube itself. :P

Any unmoderated forum can become an ugly spectacle, especially when the exchange of ad hominems begins and the loudest and most vulgar start to prevail.

Although I've felt stung by the few moderations I've received here, I do genuinely appreciate what the mods do for OT.

Without them, this forum would probably degenerate to the same level very quickly.

Youtube is a landfill for talentless fools and emotional freaks, but there is some cool/funny/beautiful content on there. The comments are funny as hell to me. I encourage everyone to go to a My Chemical Romance video and call them emo, or better yet, go to a Tool video and call it boring and pretentious...and emo:P then watch the dozens of fanboy/girl hate replies:P

I don't post on there or anything, never have, never will, but check it out and tell me what you think. They both have the worst forums.
