Ninjas? They are 5 foot tall japanese with shortswords.

Vikings are 300 pounds of 7 foot tall, muscular, armoured, scandanavian, killing machine. Vikings eat Christians for breakfast, maidens for lunch, innocents for afternoon tea and Ninjas for dinner. It would take a Viking aproximately 3.597 seconds to kill a ninja.

Like Chris the Ninja Pirate? Ninja are lame, they are dishonourable because they don't face their opponents in combat, C16 pirates are better because there wasn't a system if honour against which they could be judged as dishonourable. But vikings do kick everyones' ass.

Spies were around for a lot longer, it's just that Japan likes to take things like rocks, smash them together, repeat for several dozen generations and call it an art.

Ninjas are still pretty cool though.
