Happened to me today, not sure how I missed like two inches of facial hair lol. How long did it take for you to notice? Luckily I was home today 😎

@SolidGame_basic: lol not so much shaving, but when I cut my own hair (I buzz my own hair with clippers) I will sometimes miss a bit on the back.
Most people are nice enough to not say anything.
But my family? Those pricks will have a fun time making fun of me 😂🤣

😆a similar thing happened to me once. my clip fell off by accident and I skimmed a patch of my scalp. I figured it wasn't a big deal until I was leaving my dad's house and he saw the back of my head..

me dad literally said this when I got home to visit (always try to cut my hair before I visit to look nice)
"Nice haircut, son"
"Oh yeah? I actually did it my---"
"For me to poop on!"
Dude literally Triumph the Insult Comic Dog me! He is 80 years old, I don't even know where he learned that from, he doesn't watch anything like that. Might be from his golf buddies...
I haven't shaved or trimmed my beard in years, but I do occasionally trim my mustache. I never miss a spot when I trim my mustache. Right now, though, we hockey fans are in "Movember". It's a time in which we raise awareness for men's health by letting our mustaches grow. I'll trim it once December comes.
Sometimes.
When I do shave, I use shaving cream once, shave with the grain and then go over a second time against the grain with whatever lubricant is leftover. I'll also just run my hands over my face to check how smooth it is.
Another thing to mention is that I do the opposite of the conventional "shower and then shave." I find that showering after shaving seals up any nicks that generally happens during the process and I don't get agitated skin.
I use a safety razor and will always miss a spot on my neck or face. Would have to do multiple passes on my face to get a clean shave. I cut myself a few times still do cause I can't get my chin. Guess I don't let the weight of the blade do the work or need to try another blades that aren't mild or aggressive on my face and use a beard oil to soften hair first.
Yes. Occasionally miss a spot on the back of my head. And once in a while a small patch on my cheek. It doesn't look like there is hair there, so sometimes I forget and miss it. But to the touch, there is texture.
Shaving hack I was made aware of (I'm probably the only one who didn't know). Use hair conditioner instead of shaving cream. It's even smoother and your skin will be more moisturized than even the good shaving creams/gels.
I leave my facial hair groomed. I seldom shave myself clean, so even if I "missed a spot" which I rarely do, it just blends in with my facial hair.
What is a real pisser to me is when I shave off too much when grooming and get a bald patch. At that point I'm stuck with either shave myself clean or try to balance it out the best I could.

Yeah, I've heard of this myself and have tried it. Works out pretty well! Another perk is that you can actually see what you're cutting, seeing as most conditioners are clear. I got the tip from a guy off of YouTube named Greg Boswell.
