If you are washed up on an island with only one type of fruit, which fruit would you hope for it to be? There's other food like animals and plants, but only one fruit for the rest of your life. I would pick apples because they are tasty and probably easier to spot.

I never heard of that before.

I chose oranges so I could build things out of their skins and their juiciness would be good.
Unless wild bugs would eat me if I tried to make orange skin armour.

Maybe I should've chosen Apple, because Wiki says they have a bit of vitamin C too and I wouldn't want scurvy.

Actually I am wrong. Good apple juice (like Juicy Juice) has the same DV (120%) as orange juice, but apparently the fruits themselves are quite different. With oranges having MUCH more latent vitamin C.
