first of all, I didnt "capture" the pigs. I killed them. I then cured parts of their body into deliscious prosciutto, salted and smoked some of them into bacon, slow-cooked some of them into deliscious pulled pork, and then cured and aged their bellies with thyme into delicious lardo. This is, of course, after frying their delisciois skin into cracklins.

First I'd pile rocks all around the exits, save for one. I'd probably leave one small window for the pig to escape from. But I'd block all the other openings so that the pig can't escape from them.

Nest, I'd take the straw and the sticks from the other two houses. I'd pile them around the brick house, and light a huge bonfire. And yes, I am aware that bricks don't catch on fire. However, the ROOF probably isn't made of bricks. THAT will catch fire. The house will then burn, leaving only the brick walls standing.

If the pig wants to escape, he's gotta go out through the window. And I'll be waiting for him. Alternatively, the pig can stay in his house and burn to death. Fine by me, then he'll just be a cooked pig.

And yes, I am aware of the obvious tactic of simply going in through the window. However, the problem there is that that leaves me vulnerable. Anyone who passes through the window is automatically vulnerable to attack. If I try to break in, then it's easy for the pig to shoot me. Or to just stab me in the neck with a sharp stick. Nope, I'm not going through the window. The idea is to make HIM leave through the window, so that now HE is vulnerable to attack.

Then breaking down the door doesn't exactly help much either.

The idea is about how we'd get past the HOUSE as a defensive barrier. If we're allowed to just continually invoke more hypothetical tunnels and panic rooms, then that degrades the entire point of the hypothetical question. See, the house itself is meant to represent a seemingly unbreakable defense. If we can just invoke the idea of a "panic room" once we've gotten past the bricks, then we can essentially invoke an endless succession of panic rooms housed within other panic rooms. And that's a cheat. Because that wasn't the initial setup. The question wasn't about getting into the house and breaking the pig's panic room, the question was about bypassing the defensive capabilities of the house. In the event that there is a panic room or a tunnel leading elsewhere, then I'll deal with that on the fly. Just like how I dealt with the fact that this house was made out of bricks instead of straw. The pig ain't going anywhere, he's hiding in his house. Panic room or not, I still have the luxury of waiting outside the panic room, and taking my time thinking of ways to make the pig come out.
