I sure wouldn't. I couldn't do things I liked anymore. Like play games. Or write. Would you do it?

no, I think people underestimate the enjoyment they receive from their hands. Prosthetic limbs aren't advanced enough yet to completely replace a lost hand.
No I wouldn't. There was a study not too long ago that said money doesn't make you happier. Monly only makes you happier if it gets you out of poverty.

Money is definitely not going to guarantee happieness. There are far more important things to me than money, such as my relationships. A billion dollars though will keep you far removed from poverty, unless you have zero money management, and more importantly it would allow me to provide for my children's future.
Hell yes. I'd let them take it off with a rusty hacksaw, Gone With the Wind style. Do you know how much $1 billion is? I don't know which hand i'd take though. Even though i'm right handed, i'd probably chop off that one. When I one-handed drive, I use my left hand on the wheel. When I do music, my left hand is used the most. My writing would be horrible, but if anyone said crap about it i'd slap them with a million dollars and scream, "I'm rich, *****!!!!!" And they couldn't do anything about it because picking that money up off the ground would be the single best thing that ever happened to them in their life.
Money doesn't buy happiness but it allows you to buy things you like and you can easily afford to things that you like.
I think a billion is too much. You would be stupid NOT to. Who would even give you a billion for that?
Would you chop off your hand for a McChicken sandwich and a redeemable coupon for a free session of laser tag, no expiration?
Now THAT's a head scratcher ...
[QUOTE="SunofVich"]I dunno the pinky toe is quite useless.I would not let any part of my body get chopped off for any amount of money.

Helps you balance. I bet without your pinky toe I could just push you over with one finger.

PS - Nice avatar Doonee ;)
Probably better to get someone elses hand surgically attached. It has worked in the past, although sometimes it just dies while attached and rots out your arm. yum yumThey're doing amazing things with prosthetics these days. We're probably not even far off from robot hands like in Star Wars.
So a billion dollars andI get acool robot hand? Let's get to chopping.

The pinky toe is very valuable. A friend of my dad is a contractor and he wasnt paying attention on day and the circular saw he was using came off the table and sliced his pinky toe right off. He had trouble balancing and basically had to relearn how to walk
Definitely. I can just replace the hand with a chainsaw, which is a lot more badass anyway.JML897
YESSSS!!!! Evil Dead/Army Of Darkness reference
Would I have to feel the pain? Or would it just be gone.
I wouldn't if I had to feel it.
Actually, that's tough.
Probably, since I wouldn't have to worry about money again. It would be a lot harder to play guitar afterwards, but I guess I could get a fake one that is able to hold a pick and manage to get by.
