[QUOTE="C-Lee"][QUOTE="Grim_Heaper94"]WALL-E. Pixar's worst film, IMO.Grim_Heaper94You liked Cars more than WALL-E..? I forgot all about Cars! I absolutley despise Cars. Its the only Pixar movie I don't like. I LOVE the rest though.

You clearly don't know what a good movie is. I know it's your opinion, but they're fantastic films, fact. :P

If he can provide solid and genuine reasons as to why he didn't like it, then his opinon isn't wrong.
It's fact that they're great movies, they're reviewed by professionals.
Say he liked Date Movie and says it's great, he's wrong, it's a fact it's a bad movie.
No.
Fact is that 1 + 2 = 3, we can all agree that's the case (right?).
Space ships slowly moving across celluloid is not factually good, its 100% subjective, the same image goes into each viewers head, but a mostly unpredicatable reaction comes out. The equivalent of an absolute "professional" in cinema, would have to be like a calculator is to math, it just doesn't work that way here.
I can say Date Movie is the greatest film of all time, and there is nothing you can do to prove me wrong, nor correct.
Avatar, Seriously almost everybody I know loved this movie and I thought it was boring as hell, also the very recent movie Kick Ass I thought it was stupid.
[QUOTE="kidsmelly"]One of the worst movies I've ever seen, along with 2001. What movies are you watching if you consider 2001 and A Clockwork Orange the worst you've seen? :?Theres a few. I think one would be Clockwork Orange, I did not like it at all.

It seems as if no one can say Avatar anymore as it seems that has taken up about 50% of the answers. Hurt Locker for me. It was my most disappointing film of 09 (or 08, when it actually came out, whatever).
Donnie Darko
its like they gave a philosophy student a few million dollars, some popular and young actors, and said "Have fun, we dont care if it is pointless and makes no sense"
[QUOTE="BadNewsBen"]What didn't you like about it? I loved the directing, but I found myself disappointed in the character arcs. It may have been a simple case of over hyping it on my own. I thought it was okay to about average, so I definitely shouldn't say worst movie I've seen that everyone liked, but for me it goes in there as one of the biggest disappointments in recent memory. It seems as if no one can say Avatar anymore as it seems that has taken up about 50% of the answers. that is what I hear but I have a personal disbelief in "director's cuts"
theatre version or bust, man.

Hmm, I suppose thats a way to look at it, but it can also be understood from the theater version depending on how well you were able to comprehend it (took me two times to be honest). Still, I won't argue as I agree that if you feel you shouldn't have to see it more than once or see it in a different form to understand it than I could see how you would not like Donnie Darko.Avatar for sure. James Cameron's Avatar? More like Disney's Avatar. Ridiculously predictable and corny plot. The analogies were so obvious and in your face. And the movie relied completely on special effects.

The Hangover - most unoriginal and unfunny movie ive ever seen
soren008
My god yes - I feel like I'm more evolved when I hear people say that was good
That just means theres no party side to you. If you like to party, you'll like that movie. IMPOI suggest the directors cut, you may have better luck understanding.[QUOTE="BadNewsBen"][QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]

I'm the opposite, well it helps that i don't go to the theater, director's cut is what they wanted you to see in the first place :? Though i still thought it was pretty meh.Avatar.For the love of **** it's just Dances With Wolves: The Sci-Fi version, with pretty CGI.The characters' personas are almost identical. From a technical standpoint,it's very good. But everything else? Horrible. It waltz's through every damn cliche plot point in the book.AtomicBaconBitsmore like pochahontas.

Or Ferngully or The ant bully, is a pretty overused argument, one dude goes some place and his original purpose was to destroy it, the dudes from that place didn't wanted that so they transfom him in part of their group and make him learn their culture, the hero then ralizes how nice the natives are and how their territory must be respected and not destroyed, he joins the natives against the dudes the hero was part of at the begining and saves the land of the innocent tribals, the end.

Is the concept overused and unoriginal? Yes, but I still liked Avatar because I believe respect for those who are different to us is a lesson more people should learn.
