Some say the president is communist, and that he's already planing a communist takeover (With ObamaCare and the like). Generally they're the same crowd with tin-foil hats and Ron Paul posters in their basement.
Even if there is a communistic party in a country like the US, and even if it wins the elections, it wont ever be able to turn the country to communism.
For instance there is a communistic party in Greece (the word Communistic is in their name so its pretty officially communistic) but in practice they arent actually communistic. They are just more close to communism than the rest, but still very far from actual communism (if we accept there is an actual communism to talk about).

Ron Paul makes me lol... if he ever becomes president though I'll cry. Seriously he'd be one of the worst presidents ever... :(
There has already been an openly Communist congressman. From Vermont, I think (go figure). But as for any hint of a majority, no. The Democrats are doing a good job already.
Contrary to what Glenn Beck would like you to believe, communism has descended into irrelevancy, so don't hold your breath for the proletariat to free themselves from their capitalist shackles and take up arms and rebel against their bourgeois oppressors.

Texas doesn't need bashing, the biggest naysayer of them are themselves.. One need only look at examples like the Board of Education's ruling.. Or how the governor thought it wasn't a good idea in getting the education loan from the government in buying their students science books.

This is what I was gonna say...communism is dead in the developed world. No people of any developed nation would openly convert to communism, unless something happened like extreme economic collapse in IMO.

The communist party isn't banned. That would be unconstitutional. Communists have the right to peacefully assemble just like everyone else does. I doubt it's banned too. Who would ban a party that main purpose is equality and common good?
