People say that they see black face as a sign of racism. They say that it's only to make fun of people for something that they can't help, and furthers stereotypes. Personally I think that the people who get offended say this, but are actually offended that people think of black people as cool enough to want imitate them (which is the highest form of flattery from what I understand). Instead of saying the truth about how it makes them feel they cry racism when it is really the offended people who are actually racist.

Obviously this is all opinion, but I think it may very well be a valid one. What's your opinion on this issue?

Also I am loving this new look for OT. Gamespot just got more awesome.

So, I wanted to post a great old blackface picture, but image uploading isn't working. Sure wish GS would just let us link images like before, rather than insisting on wasting bandwidth with forced redundant re-hosting. Fucking gamespot.

There's no such thing as racism against whites. Didn't you get the memo?

White people have it so hard these days. Why, just the other day I was walking home from my family's plantation, when all of a sudden this ethnic individual crossed to my side of the street--with me still on it! The nerve! My Hispanic maid was shocked!

That is a cute way to think about it, but it is just racist.
