Why are so many ppl negative/oblivious to esotericism/spirits/magic etc?

I think it's largely cause science and society passes on a "filter" to them.

They can't see beyond THEIR veil of reality.

Because there's little scientific evidence to back them up sadly. Unless of course you're talking about the drinkable kind of spirits.

Perhaps one day there'll be a logical theory to there existence, and with it more praised research would go into finding it. Then they may find some scientific mumbo jumbo particles and atoms in alternative dimensions and what not that prove the existence of the soul. It seems more beneficial to look into and find out about things we know exist, like planets and other galaxies and such first though.
