Why all the Bieber hate?

I mean I'm no Bieber fan but I certainly don't hate him like it seems everyone on the internet does. I mean what did he ever do to you? All lot of people get him crap for looking/sounding like a girl but honestly in the music industry that's nothing new (just look at bands like the New York Dolls) and others seem to hate on his uninspired music and lyrics but I mean he makes bubblegum pop so once again nothing new. I think the most ironic thing is that all his haters are what have made him so popular, I know I never heard of him until I noticed that every top Youtube comment had to do with Justin Bieber. What is it about him that makes people hate him so much? I just don't get it

The kid clearly has a voice. Don't even try to deny that. It's not my kind of music and from the looks of it, it's not yours, either. That doesn't mean he has no talent. Not only has he managed to maintain a strong relationship with his fanbase, but he's also shown a good sense of humor when it comes to making fun of himself.

His music is atrocious but really no worse than say Bruno Mars or any number of other sh!tty fourth-rate popstars.

Other than that I have no idea why anyone would hate the kid. Anyway wasn't most of the hate towards him over already? I thought that was a 2010-2011 thing.

I don't like his music, so I don't listen to it. Still, I realize that it has its place; young girls who haven't developed their taste need to have something to listen to. But some people actually think it's normal to not like someone's music and then hate their guts for it.

Beiber hate on this forum has died down tho. It's still pretty prevalent on YouTube, but then again, YouTube is such a bastion of stupidity that it makes OT look like Harvard.

I used to think it was because he was a popular pop star, one loved by tweens, and people with different tastes just thought he was overrated.

But he is also kind of a dumb guy (he called the Sistine Chapel the Sixteenth Chapel and said Canada was the greatest country on the planet), and he's a kid, and all kids are annoying in some way, with no exception to a popular one with a twitter where he talks about candy or whatever.

But yeah, there is a bit too much Bieber hate, even if he is kind of dumb and you don't like his music, its unnecessary.

I don't get it, either. He can sing and dance pretty well. Who cares if you don't like his music? He makes music and people buy it. Hardly a reason to hate him. By the way... there is nothing wrong with pop music. Pop music isn't any less of a genre than your favorite genre.
