in my opinion a chainsaw would win but if the chainsaw ran out of fuel the chicken could win

Probably the chicken, if the chainsaw was just lying on the ground running...I'm sure the chicken would have enough brains to run away from the big noisy thing. Obviously if it was someone chasing after the chicken with a chainsaw, then chainsaw.
