"Pride that you bear when you kneel" Best line ever. Also,Until It Sleeps,Mama Said and Bleeding Me have good meanings, though not metallish,=.The God That Failed-Metallica, its about James Hetfield's religion earlier in his life, which was like Scientific Christianity or something.

Dance with the Devil by Immortal Technique or Broken Glass by Talib Kwelithisguy51
I haven't heard Broken Glass but Dance With the Devil was amazing(kinda creepy though)
[QUOTE="chicknfeet"]Billy Joel - Piano Man...just listen to it and think about it. Its such a great songDragonfireXZ95
This man speaks the truth. A lot of Billy Joel's songs have real meaning.
Also, see Johnny Cash. Quite a bit of his stuff has real meaning.
A lot of Eminem's songs have real meaning also.
A few of Avenged Sevenfold's songs have to do with the war in Iraq right now.
Megadeth's songs are mostly political and real world dealings like Kick The Chair.
Nine Inch Nails is also pretty political.
A lot of P.O.D.'s songs are about how screwed up our world is.
A lot of Bon Jovi's old stuff has some real meaning.
Darren Haye's solo albums are mostly about popularity and the limelight and how overrated it is and how much people take it for granted, he also has some political stuff. Some examples of his stuff, "I was walking through the city
Past a phone shop and a homeless man
Was lying there looked almost dead
And no one seemed to bother"
and "The President who f****d the world, For every future boy and girl
Is golfing in Aruba
With a suntan and scuba"
Senses Fail has real meaning also, and these are just a few bands/artists.
They truly are god awful lyrics. Good meaningful lyrics make you think about what they are trying to say, and have to work hard to see what the true meaning of what they believe is. A song with incredible lyrics makes you believe you are listening to something completely unrelated on first listen, then once you know the meaning it is as if it's a brand new song.
Every Breath You Take for example by The Police.
Therefore them lyrics are diabolically bad, due to the abocve statement, and the fact they could of been written by a mindless 11 year old.
Most non-pop music has meaning. I am listening to War Pigs by Black Sabbath. Plenty of meaning in it. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=0GRR_n_yQGA
Crippled and Broken - Kataklysm http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVLyp918uYI
