I used to think that I'm the only Filipino Gamespot user so I want to find out if I'm not the only one.

I'm not Filipino, but I have a question: I hear you guys have a dessert called Halo Halo, and it looks pretty good. Is it as tasty as it sounds?

Are Indian people in general quite flexible (if yes, is that because of daily life in India) or is that based on nothing?

For instance I thought the idea of Japanese people being martial artists was based on nothing real (maybe an idea developed by kung fu movies being typically Asian), but I hear from someone who went to school there that martial arts is quite common as a school activity... So there is at least some merit to it.

Not Japanese, but my sister taught in Japan; it's part of their Physical Education (martial arts) to take self-defense classes. They're not kung fu masters or anything and they're not all training to be ninja or whatever, it's just a standard their country has for their children.

Are India people (mainly women) ashamed of their dark skin color?

Since we're doing a "ask the ethnic people" thread, as a Lebanese person I'm open to answering questions if any of you have 'em. I'm pretty sure I'm the only Leb on this entire forum anyway.

Haha I didn't even know Libanon was a country. I've heard of it a couple times. I thought it was a city or something, because of the name. Lissabon, Libanon. What is the most common food in Libanon?

Indian's mostly are poor hard working people, agriculturalists. So in a way they are flexible physically as they toil day and night for food :)

lol, now that's an idiotic response/question.

I hear people in India treat the lighter skin citzens better than the other and it's why bleach creaming products are popular there.

I'm a Filipino currently living in Tokyo (5th year this year) studying game design. I want to move to the USA and work there as a game developer though if it's possible but America only takes in geniuses and professionals and the competition is so stiff (rightly so).

lol, you're the one to talk about trolling as you created a million "get to know you" type questions.

And secondly, this is what you said,

"Do you have any question for Indian users?"

Sounds open ended to me.

@ShadowsDemon: I thought you said you're Polish American. Irrc you created a thread about The Witcher 3 and you felt proud as it's made in your country of origin.

Are Lebanese women required to wear scarfs or it's entirely optional ?

I'm half-Polish, on my dad's side (he was born there), and I have a Polish surname, but I don't look it in the slightest. And I'm not even remotely American. But you're probably right about TW3 thread, though.

And it's optional. Lebanon is very liberal for a Middle Eastern country (almost no games or shows get censored) and I know of Muslim women who don't wear the scarf. My mother isn't Muslim, but she'd never do it anyway. If you're gonna go anywhere in that region, Lebanon is probably the best place to go, since it's on the Mediterranean.

It's a very small country - the size of a city (but the people are all over the world, you can't escape us ;) ). As for food, you can't go past Shawarma.

Filipino Canadian. The only thing Filipino about me is my skin and hair. Otherwise I'm pretty Canadian (Vancouver BC). I can barely speak Tagalog.
