where are some of the best/worst public restrooms?

Las Vegas hotels are definitly home to the best public restrooms. seriously some of theme are absolutley beautiful, i could spen hours just looking at how clean the floors and stuff are, and the decorations on them! its like a kings bathroom!

the worst are publicschool restrooms,usually all are filled with funny/stupid/disgusting/sometimes racist bathroom writing.

nah just kidding. Everyone takes notes in their head. I'd say restrooms at Wal-Mart are pretty nice. Airport ones are nice too

That is true, i hate beaches so i've only been in a few...and they've made me feel like a need a hazard suit..

Airports have some nice restrooms. One of the worst restrooms I've ever been in was at Red Rock Canyon in CA. It's just a toilet-looking plastic thing with a seat and below that is an open pit. The smell...yuck.

I have traveled cross country several times and the rest stop restrooms are mediocre at best. There are a few worth mentioning in particular though.

at the Fernley exit off of I-80 there is one of the worst rest areas ever, Instead of regular buildings for the restrooms there are a series of port-a-potties with chemical toilets and the smell wafts out into the parking area at times. Also in the picnic are there are faucets but they carry non - potable water.

Unless there is a real emergency I have learned to pass that one.

Also once you are off the interstates there are fewer rest areas and they are sometimes not maintainted even to the dubious standards of the highway system.

But when you do find one on a state road it is a welcome relief from running to the woods and looking for leaves or hiding behind a tree.

Highway 20 and 30 across Wyoming and Nebraska both have an occasional stop.

Just about the best is maintained at Independence Rock near Alcova in the middle of Wyoming.

The best one I've been in is one at Incheon Internation Airport in Korea. The worst one I've seen is the A&P in my town. I walked in and saw (I kid you not) crap literally caked over on the toilet seat. It was one of the most disturbing sights I've ever seen. And it was one of those single toilet bathrooms for one person.goth_bacon

That would've cured me from ever using public restrooms again, as it is i try and stay away from them..

There's an Italian restaurant in my area that has incredibly nice bathrooms. Their disposable towels are barely one step below actual cloth towels, they have a variety of soaps, and the floors and toilets are always spotless.

didnt some little kid catch some people doing the nasty in a taco bell bathroom? our fairground bathrooms here are disgusting, there's animal poop on the floor from people's shoes who have walked through the barns.XilePrincess

From what I remember Middle School was the worst time to have to take a crap...so I remember just holding it all day until I got home.

Buc-ee's bathroom's are amazing! Automatic everything and it always smells good.

There's this one kid that was in my Middle School class he used to stay in the bathroom for like 2 hours straight...i have no idea what he was doing and i'm scared to think about it..

Best= Shanghai hotel that I stayed in. I was on the 26th floor and the window was next to the toilet so you could over look the city.

Worst= Public restrooms in Middle Eastern Airports. When I walked I noticed that the I stepped down about an inch or two, after I got further into the restroom there was standing urine/water slowly draining. So I walked to the toilet, bad mistake. Guess the people passing through are used to the squat method mentioned above and hit everything but water. Then they track it around with them. So I walked back outof the stall,waded over to the urinal, and then waded back out of the restroom.

i just get annoyed by toilet attendants. the guys who charge me £1 to take a piss. i can wash my own hands thanks

Quik trip bathrooms are nice, but shell gas bathrooms are horrible...

Ugh, I went to a concert a few weeks ago and the bathrooms were absolutely awful.

Quite a few bathrooms in NYC are bad...i mean the fast food places and stuff..

the worst bathroom experience that i've ever had was in Manhattan, NYC near Madison Square Gardens. the mens room was so full that there was a grown man taking a crap in a urinal when i walked in to take a leak. needless to say i turned around and walked right out without using the restroom.
