I've noticed more and more folks that I meet out and about seem to use cellphones to keep track of time. As someone who doesn't have a cellphone, I use this model of pocket watch: How about you?

Wristwatch while roaming, computer clock in my room, alarm clock before and after sleeping. Usually I have a wristwatch on my person while I sleep so I don't have to get up to look at the clock. Instead, the wrist watch can get up and look at me.

I don't use anything at all. I don't really like watches on my wrist and pocket watches just seem too cumbersome unless I'm often wearing a vest, so I just go au natural and throw caution to the wind.

I wasn't aware pocket watches were all that common anymore, outside of the occasional formal event. Seems kind of foreign to me. I can't remember the last time I've seen anyone use one.

Whipping mine out of my pocket (my pocket watch, that is) is a great convo piece :) They are uncommon, but that is what makes it novel. I also got one for my sweetie for our anniversary in September and had it engraved with a lovey-dovey message. I think doing that with a cellphone would have been less romantic

I don't have a cellphone or a clock of any kind on my person. I don't even have a clock in my room. No light gets in through my window either, so I don't have a good idea of what time it is when I wake up. I never have to be anywhere, though, so the time doesn't usually matter to me.

Most definitely. They really are pretty classy, but I'd constantly be worried about scratching it or getting it dingy.

Yep, I use my cell phone almost always. Mainly because watches feel weird on my wrist and at times when I used to wear one I still impulsively pulled out my cell phone to check the time. :P

Occassionally I may look at my MP4 portable player's screensaver (which displays time/date etc).

[QUOTE="Jandurin"] a bit girlie. *but nice

Yeah, at first I thought it was really girly since it's about as thick as 2 quarters stacked together...But it's actually not too bad. Also, my arms are fairly hairy, so that mans things up a bit when I wear it.
