Do you think its rude to show up at someones door ahead of time without a call? My bro and his wife and kids just came by unanncounced and then they had the nerve to open the door which was unlocked at that! Even tho they are family, I felt and still am pissed. I would never show up at my friends house without calling him ahead of time to see if it was cool. And I would wait till he/she opens up the door. Now back in the day I know they didn't have phones so showing up unexpected was the norm. Plus if they call ahead of time atleast I can tidy up the house a bit for guests not even giving me a chance to do that just aint right.OT whats your thoughts on this I would really like to know.

I hate hate HATE people who do that. With technology the way it is now, there's no reason someone can't drop a text or phone or even just say they're going to be in the area beforehand and might stop by. It's extremely annoying when you have plans, then a relative just decides to stop by then you feel obligated to have dinner with them :/

That's just.. weird. I mean, it's ok if it's something that you mutually consider normal, but otherwise it's normal to at least let someone know that you'll be on their doorstep or just wandering into their house. Probably worth mentioning it casually or jokingly next time you talk, otherwise it will result in arguments.

I always wear a speedo on the weekends for when those uninvited guests come over.

I wouldnt like someone to show up unannounced. Who knows what could be going on in your house/apartment/dorm when someone shows up.

I hate it, even if it's family. Have the goddamn courtesy to let me know you're planning on dropping by - preferably with a least a full day's notice.

Not even the K-man?
I would dislike it though. At least knock before coming in
