What's your opinion on Gamefaqs?

I've personally always liked it better in that the boards are plain and simple. No flashy icons everywhere you look, much better, straightforwardleveling system (IMO), and a much more efficient way of enforcing the rules.

I'm also kind of a newb to Gspot, but I've been at Gfaqs for a long time. I was also wondering, when CNET took charge of Gfaqs, did the users here throw a big fit about it like they did on Gamefaqs?

Yeah, probably. Btw, in case you didn't hear, Cjay left Gamefaqs a couple of months ago, and now Sailor Bacon (SBAllen) runs the site.

I officialy left there yesterday and am only coming here now. The mods suspended me for joking about him mixing chemicals together!a-c-slater

Never liked the site, its full of morons who have nothing better to do than insult, flame and troll your posts left right and centre. The few veterans on there have their heads so far up their arse i find it hard to believe they can still type.

Many GameFAQs users seem to think of themselves rather highly compared to us, which is rather pathetic. I prefer GS because of all the extra features.SolidSnake35

well, when you have a few (not saying all ) gamespot users typing like 12 year olds and ask us questions they could have answered themselves, it's obvious we'd act like smart asses and ignore them.
