What's your Gamespot age?

How long have you been a forum member? As I approach my 14th GS birthday(since June 2002) just makes me wonder what the general tenure is of forumites nowadays.

I actually joined before '02 but then the forum changed and everyone had to get new usernames. I am actually a knight of ye olde forum. I started coming here early 2000 when I purchased the Dreamcast. Glorious time and active communites back then.

How I yearn for the days of yore. How about you?

I lost count, but it was before Y2K. I was looking for cheat codes for my PS2 and i found this site. Although i was under a different name. Them days of PS2, and Dreamcast, ect. were most fun back int he day. These forums were much fun. I have to say maybe about 18 or so years ? I did leave for a few years and came back. I did that twice i think. Its funny how you end up back to the same spots at times. 14 is a long time. You were around when all the old crew was with GS, like Rich Gallup, and many others. Congrats on your many years.

I've been coming back to GameSpot forums as a lurker since atleast 2008, but I started recently to get into posting. I have in the past remember having other profiles, but time saw them forgotten and what not. So I guess officially and in consistency, this year, since the end of March.

I have been a member since May 8, 2002. I was a member longer than that, since before you had to pay to be a member.

About 2006 I would visit the site for reviews and then in 2008 I made an account.

About 11 and a half years although I used to visit the site well before then.

I joined in 2011 after lurking the forums for around half a year.

I was never really a lurker. I will say my game habits have changed since I started. Back in 2000 I was 22 single and had no obligations. I practically lived on my DC with friends playing Powerstone, NFL Blitz, NBA 2K-2K2, etc.

Now I am 38 with family and I game maybe once or twice a week. I do get on my PS3 a lot for EA Active 2, but that's a workout not a game. Wonder if you all still have the same gaming habits?

Nearing 12 years for this account though I had another account much older than this. I believe I first came here either 1998 or 2000 but never really visited the forums (Had the dreaded dial-up connection which tied up the phone line back then so I really couldn't hang out on the forums anyhow)....

I actually started back in 2008.

2004 is when I started using this site but I never made an account or came to the forums till summer 2008

Between lurking and multiple accounts over the years, about 16 years.

Probably started lurking back in 2008 but joined 2009 then left 2011 and came back to the dried up forums late 2015 (October-December). I'm still enjoying it though.

Somewhere around 18 years. I joined before Gamespot was Gamespot and it was videogames.com.

@JustPlainLucas: Dude. How old were you then? How old are you now?

Had an account or two banned back in the fascist days of the TOU when these boards were still well trafficked, but I have no idea when my first profile was created.
