Smells Like Teen Spirit, Polly, In Bloom, Come As You Are, Lithium, Breed, Territorial Pissings, Serve the Servants, Heart-Shaped Box, Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge, Dumb, Very Ape, Pennyroyal Tea, All Apologies, About a Girl, School, Sappy, Where Did You Sleep Last Night, You Know You're Right, and Sliver are my favorite songs by them. By the way, 'The Man Who Sold The World' is a David Bowie song. Not Nirvana. I know they covered it but that doesn't exactly count.

Cobain himself hated Smells Like Teen Spirit with a passion. I think he even said it was one of their worst songs... and yet it is their most popular one.
"Best" in grunge is usually a song that follows the genre styIe on top of having unique writing. Smells Like Teen Spirit isn't really "grunge" to begin with. It is more "hard pop rock" than it is "grunge."
It is hard to objectively analyze music since it is all a matter of taste but compared with other bands in the actual genre, most of Nirvana's unknown songs are the "grungiest."
