So how did you (or somebody else) name your computer? Just curious.
Please don't post nonsense (BiancaDK!) :)

By the core name, mine is Wolfdale (Core 2 E7300) and the family PC is Propus (Athlon X4 620)X360PS3AMD05What about the computer name? (right click my computer > properties)
Family PC- CrappyInternet My laptop- Powerhouse. Dreamcast- The_Dreamer(ATT comes with 20 hrs of dial up per month) 2nd family- Smurf (It has super slow GPU.)
As Windows 7 adds "-PC" - my computer name is SuperBeast-PC. That name comes from one I started using in 2003 when I was playing a lot of MultiTheftAuto version 0.1 for GTA Vice City. No, in reality, I'm not super nor a beast - but the PC I'm using now was when I built it 4 years ago :)

Named it after the Trilogy. Although this is the 3rd or 4th computer I've had with the name.
[QUOTE="Teenaged"]I doubt most have. All computers have a name so they can be identified on a network. If you install Windows yourself, it will prompt you for a name. Pre-built computers are probably named after their manufacturer (Dell, Compaq, etc.)I havent named it. It never crossed my mind to name it.

Which now looking back on it , may have been an incorrect assumption.I havent named it. It never crossed my mind to name it.

Look, if you right-click on My Computer and go to Properties, it will have your computer's name. All computers have names, whether they're generic manufacturer names or names set by whoever installed Windows.[QUOTE="ProudLarry"][QUOTE="dave123321"] I doubt most have. Teenaged
