What's The Weirdest Piece Of Japanese Animation You've Seen?

I'm not much of a anime fan myself, although I have watched some from time to time. Needless to say though there's some bizzare scenes that go on in some of them. I've only watched the more serious sort of anime's like Death Note myself, but I have seen my friend watching some of the more out there shows. From a simple 30 second glance over to his monitor (he didn't really care or try to hide it) I seen a woman who transformed into a bigger breasted lady (showed the transformation in detail) with longer hair ready for a battle against what I can only describe as a giant spinning top and salt shaker.

So guys, what's the weirdest thing you've ever seen happen in any Japanese animation? Not necessarily weirdest anime, but weirdest scene from any piece of Japanese animation in general.

Well as the man said there are quite a few odd ones out there. But one of the first strange anime that I came across was in the mid '80s when Mamoru Oshii collaborated with illustrator Yoshitaka Amano to create a personal vision with no marketability called Angel's Egg.

Actually one of my fav animes is a truely weird one that I actually have mentioned in my username here. :P

The one where a vegetable commits suicide.

I stopped watching Anime before it started getting really weird, so none.

I've seen some of the more out there stuff such as Urotsukidoji, Wicked City, and La blue Girl. So there's that.

That's not hentai, probably Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, though it's easy to follow once you ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING.

For hentai, I don't even know anymore. Taimanin Asagi was usually top of the list but I've seen it so many times now that the shock factor has worn off.

The show is actually pretty funny.. couple of my mates and me watched the whole series.

I haven't seen all that much anime, but I'd have to say Paranoia Agent out of the ones I have watched thoroughly. It was actually really down to earth in the beginning, which I liked, but sort of devolved into generic anime weirdness. Still, it was all worth it for this scene.

Gotta go with Ponyo on this one.

Kurozuka. I remember seeing a bleak, bloody, and messy vision. Not much else. It was kind of a waste of time.

I thought FLCL was pretty weird.

Night Shift Nurses. Had some of the most disgusting, hardcore fetishy stuff you could find in a hentai.

And lets go ahead and throw in every hentai ever made in the mix.

Then there's Bobobo-bo-bobobo, a guy with a blonde afro and shades who fought bad guys with his nose hair.

Queen's Blade. The first episode where the girl pees herself twice and some other girl attacks with her breast milk is explanation enough.

B Gata H Kei. A 15 year old high school girl who wants 100 sexual partners? Uuuuum okay....

There really is some pretty crazy stuff here. Although when I ask for weirdest Japanese animation I kind of meant weirdest scene, or moment, more so than an entire anime series. :P
