Drink booze, lots of it. Coffee too. Have some friends around to stay up with you to defeat bordom. Make sure the lights are on. Have music playing and get some fresh air outside every two hours. Wash your face with water if you feel sleepy too. have a dog in the room that doesnt behave to keep you busy. If your a smoker it also helps. Dont have any pillows laying around, they can be tempting.
I feel that once you make it past a certain point, usually the normal time you sleep, then you made it for the rest of the night until the fun finishes of course
