What Would You Do If You Found Out Your Parents Were Related?

A guy i've known for years recently discovered his parents are 1st cousins.

Yeah...

The scariest part is he's got three other siblings.

So............... What would you do? I mean he asked me what i would do had my parents been related and it got me thinking.

Well I would be confused, surprised and slightly disgusted.
However what can I do? Scream and run around in circles? What would that accomplish?

I wouldnt tell no body, not even my wife

The only logical thing to do would be to get my sister pregnant.

I would be pretty disgusted when I first hear it but I would get over it eventually.

Them being related had no effect on my childhood or any of my brothers. It still doesn't change the fact they feed me, raised me, sent me to school, took care of me when I was sick, put roof over my head, put clothes on my back, etc.

How did they not know that they shared grandparents? Was one of them adopted or something? Anyway in reality having your parents be first cousins is no big deal as long as there isn't some bad hereditary disease that you have to worry about.

Maybe they might be related without even knowing it so I don't really know what to say.If they were related and they knew it then...no comment.
