When I was young, I imagined turning heaven into my Pokemon playground.

Reading this thread, it looks like a lot of you have some really boring garden-view of heaven. No wonder you're all atheists :o Heaven is whatever you want it to be.

It wouldn't really live up to its promise of eternal hapiness. Hell would probably be more fun anyway; violent videogames, orgies next to satan's throne, and Slayer performing every Sunday.

One of the problems with the concept of heaven is that it combats with the idea of an ego. If I were to maintain that distinct identity I have now as an earthly person, any task, ad infinitum, would eventually bore me. If, however, I were to become that which has heavenly capacities, the rewards of heaven wouldn't have anything to do with the person that I am now. Not to mention god shouldn't punish that me for the I that I am now. And If I were to be stuck in eternal reverance then there would be no reason for I in the first place.
