People could repopulate a fallout ridden wasteland, but the children would be very sick, or possibly even be mutated. Or they could keep people in fallout shelters, or "Vaults" were they can live for many years, then repopulate there.
Maybe I've been playing too much Fallout. :P
Anyways, I think that in 10 years, World War III would begin, but I could be wrong. I hope so. :?
Its going to be some sort of apacolyptic wasteland where human beings will be reduced to nothing and takes us back to the stone/dark ages where people will form their own little tribes and try to survive, mutant butt monsters with sharp mandible cheeks hunt and eat people alive, mutated by the nuclear fallout.
