What was your favorite activities during recess

Im talking elementary school

I use to love the washing machine exercise we would do then run a lap around the field,enjoyed playing on the swingset,loved playing basketball and tag on the playground. 

What was your favorites?

Chillin'.

Just usually went to the library to read a bit. 

Tag, Freeze Tag, Cocalevia, red light green light 123, simon says, hot peas and butter, dodge ball, basketball, flag football, fresbee

4 square, because I was a beast at it.

I'm pretty sure it was mostly kickball until they took those away for fear someone would get hurt.

We used to play our own game called sockey. Basically a combination of hockey and soccer. We used a tennis ball and basically play soccer with it and the goalies would have to use a hat to save any shots. Lots of fun. That's what I spent the majority of my time doing as a kid. The field was pretty small so pretty action packed.

Dodgeball...

Foursquare.

loved that game. i went from a complete noob to a somewhat decent player. but there was this one kid who no one could ever beat. he was beast at the game. i almost got him once, but then he put a spin on the ball and straight up owned me.

Red Rover,Tag, playing on the playground equipment and in the winter we played king of the hill on the snow piles.

Football. I mean soccer. And if we didn' t have an ordinary ball we would use a tennis ball.

I also loved dueling with Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

Two Square. I saw four square as an inferior game.

Oh and wall ball. I dominated because I played baseball.

Wolfetan

Running and fighting.  Fighting wasn't really a favorite until I discovered that I was good at it.  Glad I got that out of my system as a child.  

Beating up nerds.

getting beat up by bullies.

Had to shoot some hoops or I played handball. 

Football and kickball.

3-4th grade, f*cking dodge-ball.

5th grade, camping in the girls bathroom and catching them in the act

Middle school didnt have recess, but 6th-7th grade we did alot of wall-ball in the mornings, 8th grade was just basketball

I was all about chillin out. Maxin. Relaxin.

Pretty cool.

I was also known to shoot some b ball.

This wasn't during recess but was a game I did a few times during childhood. Flashlight tag in the woods at night. Was pretty awesome although one night when it was really dark I ran straight into a tree. Literally did the thing where you stick your arms and legs straight out because I didn't see it at all. Still it was a great game and probably one that's better as an adult.

Back in my day, we played dodge ball with rocks. And we swung on the swings sideways, to bash into each other. and we had a sledding hill on the playground in the winter, with two ice grooves carved into it. and we ran around in the woods (which were part of the playground), playing tag and climbing trees. And I had to walk to school and back home. In the snow. up hill, both ways.
