[QUOTE="jugend"][QUOTE="swizz-the-gamer"]There first albums where actually okay. But albums like converting vegetarians are bloody awful. If you like dark Psytrance then listen to Horror Place. It's the best. swizz-the-gamer
I shall look into them, thanks. The only psytrance/goa I really listen to is AP, Prana, Juno Reactor and X-Dream. Though the only dark sounding psy/goa I've heard is Velvet Acid Christ's Twisted Thought Generator album.
What sort of music are you into then? At the moment i'm very much into minimal and progressive trance. I'm sure I can recomend you something from any sub genre of electronic music :Pmostly stuff labeled industrial and EBM, though I listen to a fair amount of hip-hop and other electronic music like Autechre and Gridlock, been getting into old stuff lately, like Stockhausen.. out of curiousity mainly.

Well in terms of Hip Hop you have to listen to Dj.Vadim. At the moment i'm in love with the guy. He's amazing.[QUOTE="jugend"][QUOTE="swizz-the-gamer"][QUOTE="jugend"][QUOTE="swizz-the-gamer"]There first albums where actually okay. But albums like converting vegetarians are bloody awful. I'm sorry but I don't see it.
Yes you do *Shakes fist*Nah...he's right. That's not diverse. Honest.[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Almost all of it...though alt is my favorite.dissonantblack

Yes...that is where it came from.I listen to all sorts of stuff from all over the world so it all depends what catches my ear and holds it for a while.
Currently I'm listening to a decent bit of jazz but I got sidetracked into browsing through a lot of my classical music when I had to move my cd collection and I've jumped back into some modern 40s - 60s era composers as well as some avante garde fellows with little bit of renaissance people sprinkled here and there.
I've found myself also listening to some bluegrass, blues and rockabilly in the last few days though so I'm thinking of sinking into that whole old school country/folk scene for a little bit.

Yes...that is where it came from.what about industrial? i've always considered it to be an offshoot of new wave. there are many simularities between them. when you think about it, industrial is kinda like a more aggressive version of new wave

To me, contemporary classical music (meaning post-world war II classical music) is completely different to classical music. Not saying that's a bad thing, though. I love both genres, but I'm a little more familiarized with the contemporary artists. Good thing a fellow GSer listens to that kind of stuff.
I listen to nearly every genre, but i definitely favor rock and techno.
Some of my faves are: Daft Punk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182, Eiffel 65, 3oh!3, the who, led zepillin, and lots more that i can't think of off the top of my head.
