I would listen to the song "Friday Im in Love" first. That'll give you a decent sum-up of their music. My personal fav Cure song is "Plastic Passion".

Thats perfect. My favorites on that album are of course the title track, plainsong, closedown, same deep water as you, lullabye, prayers for rain, and homesick. i would say that is there best album. In fact its my favorite album of all time by anyone. I think LJS would say the same.

N.A.S.A.

I just recently recieved their new CD at the radio station. It's something else. Over 40 guest performances featured on it. Method Man, E40, Tom Waits, David Byrne, Chuck D, Karen O, Chali 2na, The Cool Kids, DJ AM, MIA, Kanye West, Lykke Li, Santogold, RZA, Scarface, and tons more. It's ridiculous. I've really been digging it alot lately.

Thats a really bad suggestion. that song while good is peppy and poppy which is not a good representation at all of what the cure is.

There are very few muscians that have been able to keep my interest for years... I am addicted to Bob Dylan. Will it ever get old? I don't know. Nobody's music has impacted me like his. Rock on old man.

I think Annie Lennox totally ruined that song to be honest. I wish she'd write her own. :(

I can not say I am completely addicted to a band right now. I am a bit bored of my music at the moment. I have to say A Day To Remember is the band I am listening to the most as of now. As for song, Escape the Fate's cover of Smooth by Santana.

Finger Eleven. I just recently started listening to them and found out that THEY'RE the ones who made that song One Thing (after all these years...)

Also, they're music genre is all over the place (although Wikipedia insists that they're alternative :P )

Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I feel relaxed listening to it.
